Welcome to The Solace Sanctuary! A place to celebrate life's little glimmers and to find comfort in individuality🌸☯️✨️

We have two main makers here at the sanctuary: Lizzie (left) and Jo (right), a mother-daughter team with skills in fibre arts, resin, foil printing, and illustration.

You could say that The Solace Sanctuary was forged in fire. Chronic illness and disability have hugely impacted both Lizzie's and Jo's lives, but crafting has always been a source of solace for them. For Lizzie in particular, her ability to craft during some of her darkest and toughest times allowed her to have a safe, peaceful, and joyful place to retreat from the world.

 

Lizzie also has a golden-haired Medical Alert Assistance Dog, called Henry! He's been her wet-nosed knight in furry amour, giving her a much better quality of life, independence, and emotional support. He has been a key source of solace through life's trials and tribulations, so you'll find a lot of love letter items to her golden boy🐾 

 

With these life experiences, the duo believe that there is always a little light in every dark storm, a Ying to every Yang. So they thought it was about time to open up a collective Solace Sanctuary to allow everyone to have their little slice of solace. Therefore, all products in The Solace Sanctuary are handcrafted with love and passion, focusing on diversity, nature, joy, disability, and individuality! ✨️
