What type of yarn and materials do you use for your crochet items?

All crochet items at The Solace Sanctuary are made with high-quality acrylic or cotton yarn, and each product description will state what material is used. The stuffing inside plushies or padded items all use high-grade, recycled polyester stuffing. We tend to refrain from using wool as we're aware many of our customers are allergic to the material. However, if you'd like an item made out of high-quality wool, then please use the custom/commission link or email us about your enquiry and we'll see what we can create for you!
What are your packaging and gift wrapping options?

Orders are all carefully and lovingly packaged in either tissue paper, eco-friendly packing peanuts, recycled bubble wrap, shredded paper, cellophane or organza bags; all dependent on the product purchased and what will keep it safe, secure, and looking good! Leave a note in the ordering form if you'd like you order gift wrapped and we can include a note, wrap it in ribbon, and make it look gift gifting ready for the lucky recipient!
What is the age limit for your crochet plushies?

Unless stated otherwise, all crochet plushie toys are suitable for the ages 6 upwards. Therefore, they are NOT suitable for children under 6. The majority of out plushies include small parts.
How do I care for my resin items?

Do not leave any resin items in direct sunlight or allow them to come into contact with strong chemicals (e.g. bleach). To clean, please use mild soap and warm water, leave to air dry, and polish with a soft cloth. Resin items are susceptible to scratches, if small, very minor scuffs and scratches are sustained, then use an 8000 grit polish and a polishing cloth to help buff it out. All resin items come with a care card.
How do I care for my crochet plushie?

Due to the handmade nature of our plushies, spot-clean only is recommended. Please use mild soap and warm water to spot-clean, then allow to air dry. Machine wash is NOT recommended. Tumble drying is NOT recommended. Keep away from strong chemicals (e.g. bleach, alcohols etc.). Our plushies are not for heavy/extreme use (but cuddles and snuggles are totally okay!). All plushies will come with a washing care card.
How do I care for my Stick Snuggie?

It is recommended to handwash you Stick Snuggie with mild soap and warm water. If machine washing, use on a low/cold heat inside a washing bag. DO NOT tumble dry. DO NOT bleach. Air dry only. All Stick Snuggies come with a care card.
How do I care for my crochet item?

How do I care for my pompom item?

Due their handmade nature, our pompom products are beautiful but delicate. They are not to be pulled, picked, or fiddled with as this will risk the fibre strands falling out and the pompom falling apart. They are not suitable for children under 6. DO NOT machine wash. DO NOT tumble dry. Spot clean only with mild soap and warm water. Keep away from strong chemicals.

What is your returns/refund policy?

We understand that when you receive an item in person, you might not vibe with it in the same way as online. There may also be unfortunate mishaps that your item it arrives damaged. If these situations happen, we have the following policies to help you out: 30 day returns, full refund if item is complete and undamaged, customer covers postage. If item is damaged, free returns within 30 days, proof of damage is required. Due to the personal nature of commissioned and custom ordered pieces, we do not offer refunds or returns.
