Here at The Solace Sanctuary, we don't believe in boring, box-fresh mobility aids, especially wheelchairs, as we think these life-changing tools deserve to be as unique and colourful as you are! So we're passionate about making accessories that not only bring comfort and practicality, but also a lot of personality to your wheelchair. So let's create something bespoke to you and your chair!
What type of wheelchair commissions do you offer?
We offer a range of categories you can choose from for your wheelchair accessories commission:

Armrest covers - from ornate, intricate designs, to something big and squishy, with the right measurements, we'll be able to make something comfortable and unique! Some wheelchairs will allow armrest covers to slip on, some will need to have fastenings (poppers, velcro, ties).

Wheelchair bags - provided you have handles, a bar, or any two secure points for the bag to hang, we can design a bespoke-sized bag that will fit all your necessities. Bags can be highly customisable with colour, design, straps, closure type, lining, pockets, etc. This type of commission does have a long lead time.

Small wrap-around frame animal plushies - Have a little pal join you on your adventures whilst wrapped around your wheelchair's frame (or bar/tube, any surface of the type). These are usually small plushies (approx. 10-15cm) with long arms and/or legs. They can be of any animal and can have accessories of your choosing.
